Terms and Conditions

  • We will confirm your booking upon receipt of your completed booking form and deposit of £200 (or full cost for short breaks). The balance of your payment will be due 6 weeks before the start of your holiday.

  • We will inform you of the key collection details approximately 2 weeks before the start of your holiday.

  • In the event of cancellation, the total cost is payable, unless we are able to re-let Beech Syde.  In this case the deposit will be retained to cover our costs.  We advise, in case of unforeseen circumstances, that hirers take out independent holiday cancellation insurance.

  • Weekly bookings are from Friday or Monday. The bungalow may be occupied from 3 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure.

  • Weekend breaks (up to 3 nights) are from Friday to Monday. Mid-week breaks (up to 4 nights) are from Monday to Friday.

  • While respecting your privacy we reserve the right to access the property at any time, if necessary.

  • Hirers must do nothing to make void any insurance policy, and must not cause nuisance to neighbours.

  • Beech Syde is cleaned between bookings and we ask you to ensure that the property and its contents are clean and tidy when you depart, i.e. left as you would wish to find them. Please let us know of any damages or breakages immediately so that we can replace or repair ready for the next visitors.  We reserve the right to charge for any breakages and damage caused during your stay.  However, minor accidental breakages will not normally be charged for.

  • Bookings are accepted on the understanding that the property is taken for holiday purposes only and that, excepting babies, the names and numbers of persons using the property is limited to that shown on the Beech Syde Booking Form.

  • We regret we accept no liability for loss or damage to belongings or for any injury sustained while you are at Beech Syde. 

  • If these Terms & Conditions are breached, we shall have the right to enter and take possession of the property immediately, without compensation to the hirer.

Data Protection and Privacy Policy

As the owners of Beech Syde, we respect your privacy and aim to comply with the latest data protection regulations. This policy explains how we collect, use and store your personal information.

What information do we collect and how is it used?

When you complete our online booking form, we collect your name, address, contact details (email address and phone number) and the names of guests staying at Beech Syde.

We use this information for the purposes of being able to contact you (with details of payments, to answer questions about the accommodation and with details of future offers) and to make an accurate record of the booking, to process any payments relating to it and for internal record keeping purposes.

We will not contact you for marketing purposes unless you have given your prior consent. You can withdraw such consent if you change your mind at any time by contacting us by email or phone.

We do not retain your bank details.

How long will we keep the information?

We retain the information that you give us when booking, for a period not exceeding 7 years, to compile our accounts and in order to complete our tax returns.

Data will only be stored for as long as it is needed. Unnecessary data will be erased.

Who has access to your information?

We will not share your personal information with third parties without your agreement unless we are legally obliged to do so.

How do we protect your information?

We will treat your information with care and respect. Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our protected computer systems.

How you can access and update your information?

If you change your contact details or believe any information that we hold to be inaccurate or out of date, please contact us and we will promptly correct such information.
